We spent a wonderful week in Villa Barbara. I truellt can recomend it. It has an amazin view to the see, the neigbourhood is full of nice little restaraunts and beaches in a very safe surrounings. Dubrovnik is very close and you can get easily there by bus or a boat. Fabulous place to spend your vacations.
The view from the balcony is amazing, the best I've seen anywhere I've stayed! Such good value for money, use of kitchen facilities, own bathroom, just excellent! Very relaxing place close to lovely beaches and an easy, hassle free bus ride from Dubrovnik if you want a lively evening (although Mlini has a few nice bars and restaurants too). Big thumbs up for Villa Barbara!

There were no safety deposit boxes for valuables, no keycard system in place, but we were handed keys to our room, the main door and the main gate. There were no secure storage facilities in the rooms? We felt safe in the room, and that goes for the entire area. We could leave our things and valuables on the beach while swimming. The general impression is that the area is a very safe place and (as we also were told by locals) there were little or no theft. Villa Barbara is approximately a 5-10 minute walk up-hill from the beach, but the view is fantastic.

We had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the ocean. It was an amazing view! A separate kitchen to cook meals was great. Great value for money.

The best view on the ocean ever!!!! Might be a bit tricky to stay here if fun in priority nr 1, but quiet and relaxing. Very close to restos and cafés and beaches in Mlini. Buses and boats leaving regulary to Dubrovnik :-)
