Do NOT book at this hostel!! They double booked our room so they sent us to a hostel near by that they said was great... it was called Pension Villaneveau (spelling?) when we got there we had to climb a million stairs only to find they there was no kitchen, internet or phone that worked... we decided to stay anyways because we got a room with a huge balcony overlooking Las Ramblas... on our second night there we drank on the balcony for a bit then went to bed... i was woken up at 5am by a man in our room stealing our day bag!!!!! we ran out to the balcony and screamed at him...he dropped the bag then scaled the wall of the adjoining building and took off!!! we tried to go to reception but there was no one to be found then when we did leave in the morning the guy at reception just shrugged when we told him!! So scary!!!!

We stayed the apartment belonging to BCN Loft. In my opinion it is overpriced - in comparison to other hostels we slept in during our stay in Spain. For 60 euro/a night for a double bed room one can find something better. One bathroom without a separate additional toilet - tiny, used and it was surely not cleaned every day - is not enoughrate for a 4-room-apartment. I would not recommend this accommodation. Not for this price.

When we got to our place it was all dirty and we werent at all prepared to live in an actual flat. The area wasnt very inviting, especially girls are not quite save there; once we had to close the front door very quickly because a bunch of guys followed us. I think the staff should prepare the costumers to that and tell how to react to this. After a few days we really enjoyed the flat and the kitchen, it became like home. The only thing that really bothered me was that there were NO TOWELS IN THE KITCHEN!!! and the fridge wasnt working properly.

The hostel is not located at the same street of the office and we were stayed in 3rd floor apartement with steep stairs, pls brings your tiny luggage otherwise it is quite heavy to drag one to the 3rd floor. You have to clean your own rooms. The location is 30 minutes walk from La Rambla.
