A backpacker favourite, the HI-Ottawa Jail Hostel is the only hostel in Ottawa with a breakfast cafe, complimentary WiFi, many private rooms w/double beds, a spacious guest kitchen, a 52 inch large screen TV w/satellite, lots of parking spaces and a short walk to all the major downtown attractions!

I loved this hostel. The building has great history and features. The location is great and it's easy to get around town. I found it a really clean place and the facilities are good too. Most of all the staff here are amazing. They are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

From the Hostel you can go anywhere, that was very convienent for us. Breakfest is not that good as it sounds and a little bit costly. But it is a great expierence. Thanks.
