Typcial house are waiting here for you, the people are more than friendly, the hostel is very good situated for discover the beautyness of cairo. The taxis for the places for vistiting are very cheep or you walk all. 500 metres from the train station.

The entrance alleyway & staircase is considerably offputting, but honestly the upstairs atmosphere and service is a vast improvement to that. The cleanliness is like any of the places I went in Cairo -- not that great.
