Off a main street, thus quieter. Within walking distance to the Waterfront one of the more interesting and entertaining areas of Cape Town. Good kitchen, socializing areas, and court yard. Our double was large and comfortable. The rooms and shared areas were cleaned each day. A pleasant and affordable place to stay. The staff were helful. Ray and Bonnie Neumar

We actually had to relocate from House on the Hill. They have a dog and my travelling companion is allergic to them. The staff was helpful and cooperative in assisting us in our relocation

For our first visit in Cape Town it was smashingly good. It was like a home away from home feeling. We all liked how your team kept it clean. It was a very safe atmosphere to be around. The dogs were fun too. I would highly recommend House on the Hills to family and friends and any one who needs a place to stay while they are in Cape Town. Thanks for making our first hostel experience wonderful and comfortable.
