Avail of the pickup service offered by Dmitry especially if you are arriving at Shermeteyevo Airport. It can be very difficult to get to the hostel by public transport.Otherwise a very well located hostel.About 20 mins from Red Square via Metro.

Not a bad place. Its in a hotel complex which is handy as there is a restaurant etc. Decent decor, generally ok. Be warned though, apart from Dmitry, no-one speaks english which can be very frustrating. However, were very efficient when helping out for hotel invite/voucher for the visa. Worth a visit, decent value for money considering the notoriously high Moscow hotel prices.

Taking into account that Moscow hotels are expensive this hostel offers good value for money. Clean room, good lacation, helpful staff.

Staff did not speak much english and could be rude and unhelpful. on arrival nobody had heard of hostel tramp (it is a sub-section of a hotel) and paying was very difficult and inconvientent as only one man could accept payment, and his hours were nearly non-existent (10-2 not all days) so, we had to cut our sightseeing short in order to pay. also we were left in the dark as to whether or not our visas had been registered, and were not given appropriate documentation, which could had led to problems if we had been stopped by police (they have the right to stop all foreigners and demand passports and visas for inspection). breakfast was very simple, and choice was very limited, especially for vegetarians. rooms were clean and comfortable. also warm, which was lovely after a cold day's sightseeing! overall the property was good, despite the staffing problems.
