Incredibly laid back, awesome hostel. Clean rooms, use of the sauna on the river, great kitchen. Had a great time here.

This place has so much potential. It is a relaxing few days away, the hostel itself is under renovations and shouldbe really nice when it is finished, Rait the owner is really nice and friendly, but it is a part time thing for him so response times can be a litle slow. It needs a few more activities, but as a chill out hostel it is quite nice, and the floating sauna was to die for.

A pity that the equipment of the room was very poor, not even a chair to hang our clothes on.

The place is situated near a national park, so the location is good if you are planning to visit there. Otherwise Soomaa is far away from roads which you would use while travelling in Estonia. Hostel was very ascetic and the neighbourhood did not look nice at all. We decided to stay at Soomaa anyway, because of the friendly and helpfull staff.
