One of Stockholm's most central hostel. In the middle of city attractions, shopping and restaurants. Castanea is a personal little hostel, located in one of the Old Towns narrow cobbled stone streets. With a beautiful horse chestnut tree at a small square just outside.

This hostel is the best I have ever been to. It is cleaned everyday, there is a fully equiped kitchen where you can cook all your meals, free internet in the hall... And the location in the Old town is just perfect. I definitely recommend it to everybody visiting Stockholm! The only negative side of this hostel is that it is quite noisy. After 6 PM Nobody is in the reception so you\\\'ve to call a swedish number and afetr 10 minutes somebody reply..If you have a not swedish number can be reeally expensive! Good location, for the rest nothing special! Juhani Davide, from Italy ~ 9th Nov 2009
