From Fontanarossa Airport in Catania there are various possibilities to reach the Hotel Villa Linda.
By bus, the company "Interbus" connects Rome and the main cities of Sicily. Take the bus for Taormina stopping at Recanati & Giardini Naxos. In less than 1hr you will arrive at Recanati Bus Terminal (price approx. 10 euros per ticket). Hotel Villa Linda is a short walk (approx 10mins) from the Terminal.
By private taxi you will reach Hotel Villa Linda directly. The distance between Catania Airport and Giardini naxos is approx. 45 km (reservations can be made via the hotel - cost approx 80 euros).
By private car hire you need to take the A18 motorway in the direction of Messina. Exiting at Giardini Naxos, follow in that direction until the road splits - left for Recanati/Catania or right for Giardini Naxos/Taormina. Take a left, going out of Giardini Naxos for approx 2km. Take the next main left junction, following the signs for the tourist zone "Recanati". Follow this road until you reach a T-junction and turn right. Follow this road past several bars and hotels and Hotel Villa Linda is just past the Holiday Club entrance on the corner of a right hand turn.
By train
the trains from Rome and the North of Italy have destinations of Siracusa and Agrigento,but stop at the Railway Station "Taormina/Giardini Naxos" (distance approx 3 km from the centre of Giardini Naxos). In order to get to Hotel Villa Linda from the station, you can either take the bus which stops at Recanati Bus Terminal or a private taxi (cost approx 20 euros).
