Arcadia Youth Hostel in Yangshuo, Kina

We booked to stay in this hostel and in the directions they say that we should call them and they will pick us up. Them when we arrived there we asked someone to call and they said that they don't have a car, and nothing else. We asked for a taxi and was Y50 to go and he said that couldn't leave us in the hostel, just near and he could call. We tried to call later and they said again that they didn't have a car. The hostel itself was great. Getting there was a pain. The directions the hostel gives you say "call us and we'll pick you up." I called from three different places and each time I was told to give the phone to a Chinese person so the hostel guy could tell them how I need to get there, even though the Chinese people didn't speak English. It was a mess getting there but it was a really nice and clean place. If you don't have a phone, it's impossible to get there, but worth it if you can. Talia, from USA ~ 14th Aug 2012
