From the minute we arrived we were made to feel like we were in our own home. Tommas, Nicholas and their family were so welcoming, providing us with a room hours before our allotted check-in time, cooking for us for free on the first night and taking us out to a lovely fish restaurant in a small mountain village, and generally giving us tips about the best things to see in Trieste.
