Staying at this hostel made my stay a fabulous one in Tamarindo. The hosts actually took some of us for festivities near/around town and spent time with us. Very good atmosphere and definitely recommend it. You can literally walk to the beach in less than a minute. Meet, from India ~ 15th Mar 2013

The hostel was exceptional in terms of staff, security & location. Despite the hostel being a very small hostel with a small number of rooms, this was the best way to meet likeminded travellers. There were amble surf boards and the location right across the street from the ocean could not be beat by any other hostel in Taramindo. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling in a group or solo or to anyone who is planning a long or short stay due to the great kitchen facilities. Brandy, from Canada ~ 18th Feb 2013

The owners Koen and Alex were working around the clock and constantly checking in at the hostel to clean, take care of administrative duties, chat with the travelers, hang out, and make sure that things were going smoothly during. This was during the high season around Christmas. My brother and I signed up for the surf and yoga camp and their surf coach Walter is a 38 year old local who knows all the best spots to surf within a few hours radius.
