I stayed in one of the private rooms so I cannot comment on the dorm style rooms. My room was perfectly clean and the staff were quite nice and very helpful. Also had a nice deep pool.

The staff were excellent at Caravella, and very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The private room we had was very nice, and the bathroom beautifully clean. They have a beautiful pool for cooling off and sunbathing. Excellent choice, especially with it being so close to the ocean and walking distance to all the great shops along The Esplanade.

Amazing time at Caravella! I would suggest this hostel to anybody that would listen. The staff are second to none. The pool and facilities are very clean and laid back. If I am back in Cairns, I will stay at Caravella again!
