The street noise was a bit much but I overpowered it with a sominex. Otherwise, the room was clean, freshly painted and comfy in every way. I did not interact with any of the other guests in the mixed dorm room due to short stay, but there was no detectable security risk at all, and the location is astonishing for a $30 hotel bill. I would definitely stay here again. The staff seemed personally interested in me - something you don\'t get at the Holiday Inn.

this hostel is in a prime location and is very CLEAN. the staff is really sweet and shows you to your room upon check in. the bathroom in the room is amazingly clean with everything working properly. the cleaning lady changes the sheets when you check out. i loved this hostel and despite having 7 other people in the room, space was comfortable. definitely will stay here again.

Excellent location to Penn Station - hub to connecting subway and bus lines. It was satisfyingly clean and quiet. Thanks for making our accomodation in NYC stress-free!

Well more like a Hotel with dorms, no couch, no TV, only a terrace with some chairs so it was a little difficult to meet people, no lockers and cleaning staff is cleaning all through the day and therefore in the room all through the day. Wireless was ok, everything very clean, nice decoration, very close to penn station but not that fun for me, maybe it was the "New York attitude" who knows, whould choose another one next time.

El hostel era lindo, estaba bien, pero la gente que atendia era demasiado antipatica, y mal humorada!!! Todos contestaban mal y eran poco serviciales!
Yo no volveria, me ponian de mal humor! Prefiero un hostel mas modesto pero con buena onda!

This place is a no frills kind of place. There isn't much to do at the hostel, but the location close to a lot of places. I've stayed here 3 times. Awesome place, close to so many things. Clean. They upgraded me to a 8 person room instead of the 10 for free. Staff is very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Much better for $40 a night than expected for anything in New York. Rooms were attractive and clean. Staff was a little brusque at times, but helpful overall. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great location. Within walking distance to everything! I was really surprised on the cleanliness of this place! Bathroom in 8 bed dorm was real nice! Staff was very helpful! Would recommend, great price, great location. Just bring a towel.
