Great hostel helpful staff, nice smelling lobby, free breakfast, bathroom ensuite has hair drier, ten minutes walk to the train station. Only complaint is, there's no wifi in my room in the basement. Overall, I wolud recommend this place to others. Maryelle, from Philippines ~ 24th Nov 2012

My friend and I we had an awesome stay at the Chicago Getaway Hostel. It was our first Hostel experience and it definitely encouraged us to do it again. The hostel is located in a very pleasant residential neighborhood, very quiet and safe. You have to take the subway to reach downtown, but it is a short ride. My only complain is regarding the bathrooms. They got flooded easily and needs a little more care. They are clean though (not super clean, but clean). Ricardo, from Brazil ~ 7th Oct 2012
