We basically had to choose this hostel because our train got in very, very late and they had 24 hour reception so we weren't expecting much when we got there. To our surprise it was great! Staff was very helpful and fun, the common area was very large and had drinks for sale. Everything was really clean the only thing that wasn't great was the location, but with the underground station less than a minute walk it isn't hard to get around! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was certainly "laid-back" as advertised. There is nothing luxury about this place but the most important things are there and done right. I would go there again! Karri, from Finland ~ 9th May 2013

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I once lost my passport in Berlin and they did everything they could to help me, calling people working at the venues where I had possibly dropped it, the police station and the lost & found office, looking for embassy information for me and saying many kind words to relieve my anxiety. i stayed there two nights in a 8 bed mixed dorm. it was a little noisy at night, which is the problem of any 8 bed dorm, but people cared about each other and they were helpful. the hostel has a security door with a code, everyone has a key to the room and also to a locker, so ti is quite safe. it is not hard to find it the first time, when you see the bus stop, turn the corner and you will see the hostel with number 97 above the door. overall, i would recommend it. If you want to make some cool friends just hang out in the living room and wait for someone to come over you and invite you a beer. It's amazing the atmosphere in this hostel.
