I was ripped off by this hostel. They practice unethical business practices. I had reserved my bed for $18 on www.hostels.com. The hostel even sends me a confirmation email that my rate is $18 and tells me what my outstanding balance is less the hostels.com deposit/booking fee of $1.80. When i get to the hostel, i present my email from the hostel to the front end clerk. He goes into his computer system & tells me the rate is $21 when the evidence is plain that my rate should be $18. The location was prime and the facilities were pretty good.The access to and from the hostel, either by stairs or elevator was great.The security felt really tight.The ONLY complaint I have is the young lady working at the front desk was NOT friendly at all.I didn't see her smile once and never got a "thank you" or "welcome" and she wasn't helpful in any regard.The other workers were very helpful.People stay in hostels not only for a budget, but for the experience. Para ser honestos, este hostal no nos gusto para nada a mi y a mi esposa. Es la segunda ves q nos quedábamos en un hostal en Miami. El staff nunca creaba ocasines de diversion y hace promisiones o invitaciones las discos locales (en el hostal anterior todas las noches hacían una salida). El staff no ayuda en mucho. O albergue ė muito bem localizado, em frente a praia e a rua mais badalada, funcionários jovens, o Marcos era mais bem educado os outros achei meio rudes, quarto bons mas sem armários , somente lockers para coisas pequenas , o meu quarto era mais de fundo e nao pegava internet, tinha ar condicionado e nao ouvia sons da rua, atmosfera bacana, os tours são. Tercerizados então cuidado pois ganhamos bolo de um tour que reservamos pelo hotel, fora isso tudo perfeito, recomendo e ficaria novament MARCOS VINICIO, from Brazil ~ 19th Oct 2012
