This is a unique and unforgettable place! If you are looking for peace surrounded by the beautiful nature you won't find the better place in Gran Canaria. This is a grat point to start hiking, be careful about signs though. Thanks a lot Rock (Roch )!! Barbara Barbara, from Poland ~ 23rd Apr 2013

A great place not to be missed while exploring Gran Canaria! I enjoyed it a lot. The host is brilliant at building up a sense of small and cosy community. The views are spectacular, especially the sunsets... I would certainly like to come back there and also recommend it to all travelers who would like to stay in a place with a character. Magic location, magic hostel. Also great atmosphere: we prepared and had dinner with all the guests together. In spite of being so small (8 beds) and in a cave, it has everything I needed (except wifi, but I can have it free in the center of the village Artenara). Giorgio, from Italy ~ 24th Jan 2013

Great Hostel! One of the best I've ever been! The atmosphere was amazing, the location sublime and the host Rock was so great! It is an amazing place from where you can do some excellent hikes. And the breakfast we had every was more than enough. I would recommend this to everyone! annelies, from Belgium ~ 6th Nov 2012

This hostel is one of the most extraordinary places I have stayed during travels. Located in the highest town, the cave offers spectacular views of the Caldera de Tejeda and the Roque Nublo. Artenara is great for outdoor activities and also for experiencing the local life of island. And Manuel was the best host welcoming me with an unforgettable hike to the nearby cliffs of Tamadaba overlooking the entire West coast. This is a must to visit place to discover the best of Gran Canaria! Madara, from Latvia ~ 15th Aug 2012
