Equity Point London is conveniently located near the Piccadilly Station and the Hyde Park, so perfect for a morning stroll in the park. The Hostel ranks in my opinion in the above average: The staircases are pretty narrow, as are the rooms and the internet is pay for use. Above that there's a breakfast included, which every basics you need (cereals, juices, milk, toast, different kinds of jam etc.).There's a wild mix of customers from school groups to adults from different places. Good sleep. Sven, from Germany ~ 11th May 2013

Good welcome from the staff when booking in. Friend was able to leave his car outside the property at no extra charge - which was a real bonus. 8 bed dorm was spacious when compared with other London hostels and rooms were clean. Location was good, with a decent number of restaurants, bars and pubs within a 5 minute walk. We walked from the hostel through Paddington to Edgware Road, then down through Hyde Park to Buck Palace & to the river. Very nice in the sun. Didn't let the result spoil it ! Pros: Free breakfast. Nice neighborhood. Good in room bathroom. Cons: Clearly for children (screaming children in hallways, lots of colors, signs saying "don't throw objects out of windows"). Wi-fi is not free. Small 3 bed room. Receptionists weren't the friendliest. Summary: It's a fine hostel, but I wouldn't stay there again. Timothy, from USA ~ 4th Apr 2013

Great Hostel, feels more like a Hotel, but I count that as a positive. Great location (West side) 4 stops away from Oxford Circus. Tube only 5 minute walk away. Restaurants only 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend if you dont want a party hostel, but enjoy a good nights sleep. Will come again! Steven, from USA ~ 29th Mar 2013

the 6 beds ensuite room is amazing!got a half floor loft, which makes another half a void, both the upper floor (2 single bed) and the lower floor (2 bunk beds) got a good sense of space.there's even a terrace opening to the main street where the entrance of the hostel towards. the street is not busy so it won't be noisy. ( the street is beautiful!) -no wifi, got workshop for internet (for charge) -the paddington station is under construction which block the shortest way to the station jiali, from China ~ 24th Mar 2013

All in all was good clean, organized, nice staff. Nothing that will make you love it, though. I got a feeling of a hotel, not a hostel. The bathroom was clean but the shower area was extremely tiny, and I'm not a tall person. Internet wasn't free. Everything was a little burocratic. We couldn't use the kitchen, no even to heat up a soup for example. It's better than lots of dumps I've seen but I can only say it was OK. Helena, from Brazil ~ 4th Feb 2013
