Considering the time of year we stayed ( weekend after Easter) there wasn't many options when we were booking. The hostel was ok but the mattress was to big for the base so the mattress hung over the side and created a very squeaky and uncomfortable sleep. The saying you get what you pay for wasn't the case this hostel/ budget hotel was expensive in comparison to others we have stayed in, whichhad a lot better facilities. My room was comfortable with bathroom and everything. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of atmosphere.No people at all and the one that were there were kinda strange. The stairs are also very narrow and there is no elevator. It's a good place to spend a night, but if you're traveling alone and want to meet someone it is very unlikely to happen. It was ridiculously hot in the room, and there was no way to reduce the temperature :( Well, if you like to sleep in conditions close to ones in sauna, you'll like this place! :D (take into account that they probably use heating only in winter). All the rest was actually perfect, for the price it is a great place. There were some comments about unfriendly staff, but it was not a case for me, the guy at the reception was very nice! I don't really know why this hostel has a rating around 70ies as during my stay everything was just fine. City center is easily accessible by a tram or a 20min walk. Receptionist was frinedly and helpful. Cleanness of my room and a shower in it caused no concerns. I enjoyed my stay. Ilia, from Russia ~ 11th Dec 2012
