Parking for the car was very tedious. I received two parking tickets in large part because of the peculiar parking by-laws on the street the hotel was located on. I'd suggest that out-of town residents do research on parking options before arriving- or better yet, avoid driving to Montreal if possible. Nik, from Canada ~ 11th Apr 2013

Such kind and friendly staff and great activities.I really enjoyed my travel in this hostel. But breakfast buffet was pretty expensive. Rubbish cereals, 2 pasties, coffee/juice. fruit. Everything about this hostel is great: great kitchen yet there is an incredible restaurant/bar which makes great food and serves wonderful draft beer. Cheap, effective laundry room. The only criticism is in the hostel's actual design: there are no common dorm-style sink-shower areas, or rows of stalls. Meaning you can get a bunkroom for say 12-14 people withone en-suite bathroom (sink, pot and shower.)You can find maybe one undedicated bathroom on either the 1st or 2nd floor.So beware! My experience and comfort at the hostel further heightened my experience as a first time traveler to Canada. The staff was helpful, rooms were more than decent, and the free activities offered by the hostel (tours, etc) were wonderful. I would recommend this hostel to all of my friends!
