We've stayed here twice and we love the location as well as Cafe Franco! Great coffee and breakfast in the morning. It sucks they don't have private rooms like some hostels with a private bathroom. The bathrooms are all shared and are not the cleanist. Wish they just cleaned the place a little better to be more inviting and smell nice. But we have a great time when we stay in this location! The location is on a hill that is close to the touristic areas of the pier. So it wasn't good to get a true feel of the city. But it was a great place to be based for a short stay where the attractions are all that are important. I like this hostel. They offer everything we need. Clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. I thought the hostel is located very closely to Fisherman's Wharf.
