Only got stay in Sarajervo for one night unfortunately, but luckily for us the night we were there it was cevapi night! Amazing barbecue with everyone from teh hostel, and good fun times. Met some great people here - really good atmosphere!!! Courtney, from Australia ~ 5th Aug 2012

Finally, a Balkan hostel that gets it right. Haris and his family are wonderful hosts running a great hostel. Clean and quiet, with nice inside and outside lounge areas, plus kitchen. Good city tours. Very close to center, shops and attractions, albeit up a long, steep hill (worth taking taxi or minibus if hot or with heavy bags). If walking, there is a map on the office door by the tram stop. About eighteen beds (?) with two toilets and one shower. Carly, from Germany ~ 22nd Jul 2012

Rebuilt from a bombed home during the siege of Sarajevo, Haris' hostel is itself has some history. Haris is great we went out one night and had a wonderful chat about Balkan history. The facility is very clean and accommodating. Though it is close to the old city center, coming home is sometimes a bit tough, as you've got to hoof it up some steep hills. But it's a scenic journey near a beautiful cemetery dedicated to the victims of the siege. If it's too much strain to walk, cabs are che Eric, from USA ~ 18th May 2012

This is the kind of Hostel you really want to stay at. Perfectly clean. Nice Rooms. Everything works. Nice common areas where you really feel like sitting down and have a tea or beer at night / or plan your trip ahead on the internet. It has character and Haris and the others are warm and candid and always very helpful in whatever you need. I felt relaxed and home there. It is a 7-10 Min. walk from the Old Town/the Bazar ( + the area/ quartier of the hostel is some kind of popular Old Town itsel Adrian, from Germany ~ 28th Oct 2011
