A little shabby hotel with a good location on a side street in Thamel. Friendly but very limited English speaking staff (i.e. they didn't understand when I said "we have a reservation"). Our toilet door didn't close and the tap didn't stop dripping. We stayed there twice and made a booking by pen into their own reservation book, but still they didn't have a room for us when we came back. Got help in finding another hotel after that, though. The staff are super nice and honest.They are very helpful too. i was gonna stay for a few days initially but i ended up staying more than a week. Great location and very good value for the low price. Kanako, from Japan ~ 5th Nov 2012

You definitely get what you pay for. Its well located in the middle of the tourist district, but mind you, loud blaring music and barking dogs will keep you up all night. Staff are very nice and they are as helpful as they can be i asked for airport pickup and at $6 the fee, they were there on time. Cleanliness though is not so good. the sheets didnt seem nor smelled very clean. There was no hot water and the water itself was brown,bathroom not so clean :( Brenda, from Honduras ~ 16th Jul 2012

Love this place ! The staff really cares about you ! and they are there 24/7 ! they always welcome you with a huge smile! The location is good ! Its in a quiet street only 2 min walk from the main street in Thamel ! My next trip to kathmandu i will stay here for sure ! thats no question !
