We only stayed in this hostel for one night so didn't experience much of the facilities. The room we were in at the top of the hostel wasn't great. Plug sockets came out of wall with live wires behind it and the steps up to the room were tiled and wet and my boyfriend slipped and nearly fell down them. Don't take that room if you stay here. At Hostal Marsella, you will be received by Estuardo and his staff/family. The location is perfectly situated between the Old Town and La Mariscal party district (walking 20 mins or 5 min cab). Quite when you need, close to action. Now, I think whenever traveling to Latin America, you have to check your comforts and luxuries at the door.
