I booked this hostel and I checked my check-in time as 24:00, and also I even sent this hostel and e-mail that i would be arrived late at night!! BUT They never read it and replied to me. When I went there, at night, 'FULL' was written on their doorbell, but I knocked and asked... and then the guy shouted at me "FULL!!!!!" I even made a reservation and sent an e-mail!!!! I dont know anything of this hostel but I have to write this thing!(anyway, location is good. near SMN station.) KIRYUNG, from South Korea ~ 2nd Nov 2012

Location sells it.The old man refused to honour my hostels.com booking to the letter, but it was a good deal anyway.Get on the right side of both of the caretakers and you.ll love it.Don.t forget to check out the Medici Chappel just around the corner for the fabulous Michaelangelos and the big cript room.Stay a little longer and do side trips to Cinque Terre and Bolonga.All doable from Florence.And use the supermarket near Maccs near the railway station to save on food. The hostel was VERY dirty : they NEVER clean the bathroom and the rooms. There is a kitchen but you can't use it because you have to clean it before...The location is good, near Santa Maria Novella station and the Duomo, in a street with supermarket and restaurants. me & my friends booked rooms for 6 people, we got the unexpected rooms near the front window, it was so loud the whole night, some more there was no air cond in the room, we just got a fan after we asked for it. It was like a very old appartment, with very old furnitures, the whole appartment smelt like old wood furniture. Don't open the drawers or cupboards, u will find scruffy stuffs inside.
