While I was in this Hostel somebody got into my room and open my padlock and locker and stole me my iPad, iPod and train tickets all together was more than 2000 Euros, the owner of the hostel did pretty much nothing and told me that it wasn't his fault so he couldn't do anything. It is good hotel. 5km for the city center but very close metro (subway), tramvay, bus stop and train station. You can reache 15-20min city center via metro. Milano has very good public transportation system. And hostel Colors has good atmosphere. I can suggest if looking cheap&good hostel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.We stayed in a 6 bed room with 4 kids.The kids (teens and school age) enjoyed the bunk beds.The beds were comfy and there was no noise.It's located one street over from several good cafes and pizzerias.Entry is controlled by camera and a locked door.Everything was clean.The only thing I'd suggest to improve upon is the shower.The shower curtain was thin plastic held up by some DIY piping.But it got the job done. The owner was very friendly and knew the area for which to site see. Once they get the hang it, this place will be amazing! The breakfast was a little disappointing only having very little to choose from and none of it healthy, add fruit or something. Bathroom was very clean all the time, someone came everyday to change our sheets and clean the room. Maybe curtains around the beds would be nice. All in all great hostel!
