Hostel Manuela in Vela Luka in , Kroatien

I arrived on my own to find an empty backstreet 'apartment' rather than a hostel,a good 10 to 15 minute walk from the main part of town. Not one other traveler staying here,and this was in the middle of July!My room was part of a residential building so the sound of dogs barking and plates smashing kept me up for a lot of the night..I originally booked 2 nights but left after 1,as it really didn't feel safe..Such a shame because Vela Luka looked like it might have been a great place to explor Tom, from England ~ 12th Jul 2012
