The staff-person was really nice and helpful, and I didn't feel bad ever asking him for help and favors. Suggestions: I feel there should be more of a common area, and I strongly suggest the TV in the common area should be removed - it is antisocial, and removing it will foster face-to-face discussion around people, which is part of what hostels are about. This hostel was great for someone on a budget, very close to the subway and cheap delis etc to grab dinner, the rooms are small but clean, bathrooms were clean but some were a bit scary so i recommend looking at all the bathrooms on your floor, only real negative was the humidity, no air conditioning and for a humid week in may the rooms were extremely hot!
