The Staff was very nice, the location was perfect, close to all the great areas in town.Bathrooms, rooms were clean, little noise from the outside but not aMajor problem. a Friendly great place to spend the night , and they offer a free Breakfast . Said, from USA ~ 9th Dec 2012

IF YOU ARE A GIRL OR SENSETIVE PERSON DO NOT CHOOSE MIXED DORM. UNFORTUNATLLY LOCATION WAS LITTLE BIT DANGEROUS TO GIRLS. THERE WERE FULL OF HOMELESS NEAR THE HOSTEL EVEN DRUNKN PEOPLE SCREAMED ALL NIGHT LONG. I COULD HEAR THE SIREN SOUNDS EVERY SINGLE DAY. SMELL WAS SUCK REALLY SUCK , I THOUGHT DEAD MOUSE BODY WAS HIDDEN SOME WHERE IN THE ROOM. JUST PRICE AND DISTANCES FROM DESTINATION WAS FINE. it's so noisy as the ground level is bar. they will almost be hanging out till 2,3am, so if you are not a party animal, i would not recommend this hostel. But other things is acceptable, especially the price. Keren, from China ~ 12th Aug 2012

Luck D's was a great choice!!! The hostel is located in Gaslamp District, where the clubs, pubs, restaurants are located (maybe this could be a problem if u cant sleep if there is some noise coming from ur window, but for was it was ok). The bedrooms have lockers, the bunkbeds are large and the place has a happy atmosphere. The breakfast is good (bread, butter, peanut butter, cereals, milk and coffe) and u can use the fridge.
