My advice: don't hesitate, go there. The place is beautiful. A little complicated to find so get a map of the city, but otherwise, awesome!

Beautiful architecture though it's a bit old. The location is excellent. Also, the staff is very smiling and helpful. I was supposed to stay for only two nights but expended my stay to one week because I loved the place. Wonderful experience.

I live in a neighboring town to Hangzhou and have been in the city on several occasions, but when I woke up to birds singing in willows at the edge of a lake I thought perhaps there had been a mistake and that I had not arrived in Hangzhou at all. I'm glad I sacrificed convenience to markets and "sights" for this hidden paradise. Thank you!
