Mafkees is probably the cheapest place in the Netherlands, so you get what you pay for. It's a dump, but a place to meet other travelers. I wouldn't be able to give it good reviews, because the place just isn't good! Stay there if you want to save money. The only thing that really bothered me was all the young people doing drugs, starting in the morning. But as I said, it's a place for young travelers and in the Netherlands the drugs are included in that. Rasmus, from Sweden ~ 14th Aug 2012

it´s a great place to stay for a couple of days, i just went to the north sea jazz festival so it was perfect for it. if you go with your couple or maybe plan to stay in rotterdam any longer i will consider another place to stay. anyway i think is a great place for young travellers (early 20´s) Damian, from Guatemala ~ 9th Jul 2012

I enjoyed my stay in Makfees mainly because of the staff that were really friendly and helpful. However, I didn´t like at all the cold bath. This should be improved. I wish you the best! Best regards. Anita, from Portugal ~ 1st Sep 2011
