Ausgezeichnete Jugendherberge und überwältigender Ort. Alles war sehr gut, auch das Essen. Ausssssser: Mitten in der Nacht wurden wir von Musik und Lärm geweckt, der sich bis in die späteren Morgenstunden hinzog. yaari, from Switzerland ~ 16th Oct 2012

the common facilities are comparable to that a 5 star hotel. However in the room the air conditioning (that was vital as we travelled on August) was notadjustable by guests. This was very uncomfortable because our room was very very small and air conditioning was icy and windy. Moreover, in the night the fire alarm started and after 5 min stopped, but it was impossible to find any member of the staff to obtain information. Maria Flavia, from Italy ~ 28th Aug 2012

The only problem we had with the hostel was the rudeness of one of the staff members (a bald pasty guy). This ,however, was made up by another male member of staff who went out of his way to help us out as much as possible. The hostel did advise us that we could book on a bus from Masada to Eilat with ease the following day but in fact when we tried to book it was full so I would advise to book any buses straight away no matter what they tell you!!
