One of the best I've ever stayed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the lamp in each bed was useful. The breakfast was really nice. Although the breakfast time was finished, I could get something for my breakfast thanks to a kind staff. But there is only one thing I don't like. The room was on the basement. This hostel is close to the public transportation (metro). I stayed in a private room. The rooms are downstairs, and do not include Air Conditioning. I only had a fan in the room. The room was very humid and it made it difficult to sleep. Nika, from USA ~ 9th Aug 2012

I've stayed at Hostel Montreal Central twice now and have highly enjoyed both stays.The popular bar in the front creates a great atmosphere, where it's easy to meet fellow travelers and hang out with the fun staff (with cheap beer - 2 for $6).Every day the rooms the rooms were cleaned and we were given fresh towels.I would strongly recommend HMC to other travelers.
