This is the second time I stayed at Nomadas. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The dorm is okay except the bottom bunk is low and you can hit your head or back on the way up. The breakfastbare minimum of fruit and toast this could improve. The pool is amazing and always nice to cool off. The one gripe I have is every time I asked about a tour, etc. they got the directions or prices wrong. When I was leaving they called me a cab and said it was 30 pesos, but the cabbie charged me 40. Love this place. The hostel is very well located, only a few blocks away from the main square. The place is clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Having a swimming pool in the middle of the city is definitely an added value. There are even opossum in the garden. Just take some insect repellent with you: quite a good number of mosquito in Merida. Highly recommended! Luca, from USA ~ 22nd Aug 2012

This hostel is well located, just 10 min walking to downtown. There is a very nice pool inside the hostel. Easily, you can go through internet by the PCs at reception or WiFi available for the guests. You can pay some money to get clean towels or keys to the lock, but they redeem you when you return the items. I really liked this place and would come back in the future.
