THIS IS A GREAT HOSTEL, AWAY FROM THE NOISE OF THE TOWN. THE STAFF IS NICE AND IT IS AFFORDABLE.

The staff was very helpful, but we still had several problems arranging for a tour to Tiger Leaping Gorge. It was a bit tricky to find, but their map and other locals were helpful. While it was not in the central part of Lijiang, it was great because it was very quiet at night.

A nice hostel if a bit cold (the staff did give us an extra blanket although we would have had to have paid for the air-con). Staff are very helpful and they do a good (free) Chinese breakfast. It's a shame Lijiang is so awful
