SUPERB staff, solid cheap BIG food and location away from the MAYHEM which suited me. Met some genuinely nice people here. Place could do with a bit ot TLC/decoration in places but overall a great place to stay and would recommend for solo/couples or groups... Lovely place, really has been my favourite hostel, relaxed attitude as long as you dont take the piss. Staff are fantastic owner really helpful. Highly recommend you stay in this place if in vang vieng far enough away from the hustle and bustle so music doesnt keep you awake but not too far so as to make the walk too much of an effort. Enjoyed my stay. Chis was very informed and helpful. When I reported that the mosquito net had some holes it was immediately replaced. The bamboo chalets at the back are near the old runway and traffic noise starts early. John, from Ireland ~ 26th Feb 2012
