The location is excellent, but there is no breakfast, the staff is usually inside their office/bedroom, only one computer is shared to access the internet, no common room to chill, uncomfortable chairs at the reception to watch TV. Fabio, from Brazil ~ 4th Feb 2010

if you wanted to pay little money to stay, choose this one.. if you were willing to endure these things : no hot water, broken window frame(you have to sleep with chilly air), bad smells in the bathroom and showeroom. no plug in rooms. no friendly reception man(even he didn't give me a key).... it seems like clean,, but it's not. Location was great, but I didn`t enjoy this hostel. Rooms were small, with the lockers in the room, so you get waked up all the time but people looking for a pair of socks at 4 am. There was no place to chill, no ambiance, people were basically walking straight by you without a single "hello". Finally my room was full of americans who have not much interresting to talk about but: "the shower is germy!". And nobody respected each other, talking on the phone in the room at 4 am, ect... The location of this hostel can't be beat! It is right by the Vatican, in a district of great cheap shopping and cute cafes. The building that the hostel is in is like out of a movie with marble floors and an old fashioned elevator. The staff is nice and funny and more than willing to help. The facilities, however, are lacking. The bathroom in our room was absolutely small. It took a shimmy to get to the toilet and it was almost impossible to turn around in the shower. Location was great, but that was really all this place had going for it. Staff wasn't helpful or very friendly. Got my credit card stolen here from another person staying which is more a reflection of the people staying here than the hostel itself, but be sure to keep your stuff on you at ALL times! The staff were just among the most helpful and friendly I have ever encountered. It was a very upbeat place to stay and so convenient for anywhere you wanted to go as it is only five minutes from the Termini.
