Not a bad hostel for staying in a four bed dorm. Staff were helpful. Breakfast selection availablewas rather disappointing, no facilities to make toast. Only cereal and bread with jam. Would have expected more for the price paid to stay there. Goran, from Australia ~ 25th Apr 2013

Location near Sacre Coeur, two minutes metro station. Good Breakfast, big rooms, quiet place. Security lockers out of the room, front of reception. Friendly and helpful staff. Guest kitchen. The hostel is very near of Moulin Rouge, Montmartre Cemetery and Sacre Coeur. Free Wifi for the laptops. If you want to go to Tour Eiffel, Louvre or downtown you can get the metro. Get the 10 tickets metro, only 13 euros when you arrive to Paris. Definitively I would return. Thank you for all. Gustavo, from Spain ~ 8th Apr 2013

Pro: - Clean room. - View of Sacre Coeur from our room. - Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Con: - Sustainability: Disposable plastic cups in the room? Disposable plastic cutlery in the breakfast room? Really? - Sustainability: Thin windows mean much heating. - Noise: Whenever our neighbours made a sound (like opening or closing their door) it sounded like they were in our room. - Breakfast could be better. - Atmosphere in common areas wasn't very social. - Few common shower Felix, from Germany ~ 1st Apr 2013

I stayedin a ensuite room and the toilet was disgusting. I asked them to clean it but they didn't. The location and the breakfast were good though. I wouldn't recommend this place. IVIAN, from England ~ 24th Mar 2013

Good location, its in a cool neighborhood with lots of bistros, kind of an a cute old part of town, really close to the attraction sacre cour. Not really close to any of the other main atttractions but the metro station is a half a block away and you can get anywhere from there. We were satisfied with the room and we actually had a bathroom and shower in the room which was nice.It was one of the more expensive places we stayed during the trip but a good deal for Paris. lockers in room and reception, clean, nice staff(multilingual) willing to help, would be even better if there is more socket in room, overall a very good hostel that i would recommend! Lap Ming, from Hong Kong ~ 20th Feb 2013

The breakfast was nice! I stayed in a room for 2 with shared bathroom and it was good enough for Paris at that price. Not very fancy though. Very close to the underground station(anvers)and the Sacre Coer. I usually took the underground from there to the center so the location was not an issue. Everything in Paris is far so you anyway have to use the underground! Walking from the station is quiet a walk but if you are arriving in the day it is fine otherwise take the underground. The staff at Le Regent were amazing. They all spoke perfect English and were super friendly + helpful. The room was an excellent value. The hostel is a few feet from the Anvers metro, breakfast was included in the cost of the room, and there was free wi-fi, too. My only complaint would be that you don't get a locker in your room. But, if you're really concerned about security, you can rent one in the lobby for a nominal fee. Tanya, from USA ~ 28th Dec 2012
