Riad Massin in Marrakech, Marocko

We had a great time in Riad Massin, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they took us to the local hammam and food market and they taught us how to cook couscous. Staying at the hostel was not so bad and that's only because of the friendly staff. If you've never been to Morocco or Marrakesh before you have to know that the city is very poor and uncared. The air is polluted and filth is on every corner. The hostel may look like a luxurious palace to local people, but for western tourists is almost the opposite. Riad Massin is great! The people who work there are so warm, helpful and willing to make your stay in Marrakech enjoyable. Make sure you look up on Tripadvisors map on how to get there first, as Google Maps doesnt show the alleyways which the Riad is down. Breakfast is very cheap, can walk to bus station in 5 mins and walk or get a taxi to the market square very easily. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!! We'll miss you. Without doubt the best hostel / riad I've ever stayed. Decided to stay for a month in Marrakech only because the kindness of the staff and the comfort of the Riad. The ladies working there will undoubtedly treat everyone as their own family (complete with leaving you alone for your own time should you need), the gentlemen are ready to help you 24/7 (literally!). Ich war in den letzten Wochen 2 mal in der Riad Massin und ich habe es jedes mal nicht bereut. Es ist ein einfaches Hostel, dass seinen Preis Wert ist. Wer ein Freund von einfacher, aber guten und preiswerten Hostels mit guter Lage ist, so wie ich, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ich empfehle es dieses Hostel in Marrakech auszuwählen. This hostel is FANTASTIC!Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday, breakfast is DELICIOUS & cheap.Some of the rooms have air conditioning, and are beautiful. Location is superb, and is within walking distance of the major sites. The staff is AMAZING! They were extremely helpful, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay.We cannot say enough good things about this hostel. DEFINITELY worth the money .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will miss the staff!
