The location is pretty close to the national park, but so far from central city. The atmosphere is rather horrific. Fortunately we came up with quite a lot of participants (total 7 persons), so if you book there only for one or two person, better you think twice!!! yenni, from Indonesia ~ 18th Nov 2012

I've stayed at this hostel four times now and it's been wonderful each time :) The owner is very helpful and kind. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to Seoraksan National Park. The staff was nice. The room was old-fashioned but spacious and clean. 20 minutes walk from the National Park. The location is the biggest advantage as well as the price. Overall impression was very good. Karolina, from Poland ~ 4th Oct 2012

Staff was very friendly - helped carry my luggage upstairs, provided directions to places and spoke English to the best of their abilities. Basic accomodation but for the money, it was fine. Cleanliness and safety are the two most important things to me when staying somewhere and this met both criterion. Yes, the facilities are old, but they were clean and functional. The location is at the second to the last stop of 7-1 bus to seoraksan national park. If you walk back to this hostel from the national park, it takes about 30 mins. Actually it is a private room rather than a dom The staff are quite welcoming to us. There are room heater in the room. bedroom is clean But the cleanliness of bathroom is not good and the toilet is getting stuck. Has to be improved! WING YIN, from Hong Kong ~ 7th Apr 2012
