directions were a bit confusing especially when it was called smart camden hostel online and then camden inn hostel on the map. taxi drivers/people didnt know where we were asking for so maybe contact someone online to clear this up? Some drugs addicts/other Europeans whostay there looking for work,but when you get to know them,everyone is so friendly.Poor breakfast and bathroom is poorly located.If you want luxury get 5 star hotel,for me I am satisfy for the price I paid.Location is superb,and receptionists are very helpful! Cleaners spend all their time on the mobile phone instead of cleaning (which is in dire need of more attention) who then huff and puff when you try to get past them on the narrow stairs, which they have been sitting on for 2 hours Kitchen is very poorly stocked with cooking utensils. Dorm rooms dont actually shut so anyone could stroll in. Mattresses have plastic covering making it uncomfortable. Good central location in Camden though Harry, from Australia ~ 11th Jan 2012

Not clean. Overpriced for the size of the room. Shower in the room not working, no offer to reduce price even though I paid extra to have a room with a shower. They were doing work on the building and were in the way when I arrived. Lockers are a joke, it is a latch that can be opened with any small key. No room to even sit on the bed and no floor space to get into your luggage/unpack. The showers in the hallways had see through glass doors. Disgusting. Angela, from USA ~ 7th Dec 2011

If you want a cheap hostel with a good location in Camden Town, I will recommend this hostel for few days (I couldn't stay longer than 4 days). The place was quite untidy and small, and I didn't like the atmosphere very much. Female showers were ok and I had nice people in my dorm. Ida, from Finland ~ 21st Sep 2011

We lived 4 girls on the 14 - mix bedroom for our second stay in Camden, and it was wonderful. People are friendly, open minded and we made new friends again. The location is SO good if you like vintage at Camden marked or going out at Koko, which is a great place to see live concerts and get drunk with people from all over the world.
