Taipei Ximen Zebra Apartment in Taipei, Taiwan

The owner Cindy is accessible & attentive, with a great funky style and personality. Rooms are very comfortable w/a relaxed atmosphere, more like an apartment that you're staying in w/ friends (including Cindy!) than a traditional hostel. Free laundry, great kitchen, free (& fast wifi) TV, lockers, and a nice quiet location in a lane not too far of a walk from Ximen metro (maybe 10 mins?). Well, linen was on the bed but I wasn't sure if it's clean as no one's around. Of course, we were not sure if it was our room either. No one answered us although we tried several phone calls at different times. One guest who was leaving when we arrived said it might be this room that was only clue we had. So that night, we eventually slept in the room where NO pillow case and blanket provided. Bathroom was very unsatisfactory and room was smelly. KOOKJIN, from South Korea ~ 16th Sep 2012
