I would highly recommend this place for an independent traveler. The room is small, but Helma, the owner is very nice and helpful. It is a very short walking distance from Dover Beach and St. Lawrence Gap and right up the street from the bus stop, just as advertised. The house is also very safe and welcoming. The Hill House was perfect for our needs. My boyfriend and I are budget travelers, but we were invited to a wedding in Barbados. Many of the guests were staying at the $500/night Ocean 2 resort near Dover beach in St. Lawrence Gap. Of course, the price was way out of our range, so we were thrilled to find the modestly priced Hill House a mere 15 minute walk from the Ocean 2.
