This hostel is excellence, the cleanliness is good and the facilities are new. The best is that the owner of the hostel is very friendly and help us plan and showed us around the places of interest. Deeply appreciates his hopitality and will definately visit again Ang, from Singapore ~ 8th Dec 2010

This hostel feels more like a hotel. My husband and I stayed in a double room, and we loved it! Bed is comfortable, room/bathroom is clean, showerhead is great, and A.C. works well. The place looks like the photos of it on various websites.It is not walking distance to the train station or either night market, but food is nearby (breakfast included). We didn't use the kitchen, but they have one that is fully-stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and seasoning. ANDREW, from USA ~ 1st Dec 2010

I stayed 4 nights at the ‘Bali Hostel’ in Hualien city. One of the most endearing things of Taiwan is het friendliness of its people. Thanks Mr. Paulie, the tenant of the hostel, I did encounter numerous acts of generosity and kindness throughout my stay. He picked me up at the airport, brought me back there and assisted to buy my ticket to Taipei. Also informed me about the free bus at the railway station (drove me there by car and checked everything out) to Taroko gorge (some of Luc, from Belgium ~ 15th Nov 2010
