This is an AMAZING hostel if you like great staff and want a perfect place to see the best parts of Southern Taiwan! The FOOD IS AWESOME and the owners Ee and Terry were friendly, professional and VERY helpful (also, if you meet their little daughter she is SUPER friendly and absolutely adorable). I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE wanting a great experience in Southern Taiwan to go to "THE SURF SHACK" especially if you want to surf! (^_^) Nathan, from USA ~ 26th Jul 2012

This hostel is located at the city center of the county and about 5-10mins motorbike ride from the beaches. It offers clean and big rooms at a great price. The Surf Shack Bar serves the best burgers I've eaten and the Milkshack is a must try. Thanks Ee Jie for whipping up the incredible food and drinks. This hostel deserves more review.
