Renos were happening while I was there converting rooms to 12 beds (4 sets of 3 levels bunk bed).Someone staying in the top bunk is very high.Could this be legal?They charge you for a 6 bed room, when you are in a 12 bed room.Cockroaches of all sizes .One is shifted every night to maximize profits and schedules. One day I was moved to 3 different rooms. John is very nice, the other staff not so much.Beware of elevator, it doesn't work and I was stuck inside. On the way to the Tropic Hostel the taxi cab driver asked me if I worried about anyone stealing my things while staying at the hostel.I said, I guess I will have to give everyone the benefit of doubt. I couldn't believe it but when I got back from my morning walk on my third day my leather boots were gone.Before leaving the room that morning I wished the 22 year old French girl good luck on her Bahamas cruise she was packing for.I told her it was my last night in the hostel and I guess Eileen, from USA ~ 27th Nov 2012
