The hostel was in a wonderful location but was difficult to find. There is no sign, only a small staircase leading into a building. The bathrooms were moldy but there was hot and cold water. It served it's purpose. I'd consider returning.

they send you to a different hostel when you arrive that is 7 blocks away. little locks away from your room that you have to pay everytime you use them. to get your shower you have to go to a different room and use the ensuited bathroom. hostel always open, anyone could enter and the guy taking care of the place chinese who speaks almost no english, of very little help if you had a trouble. to get breakfast you had to walk to the other hostel!!!! very bad hostel, not recommendable

Very nice staff who were very helpful. Good value hostel. The showers/toilets were a little dirty but it was well worth what we paid and very close to times square.

I never was in a place that was so dirty. We had a reservation and there was no private room for us and so we had to sleep the first night in a 6 bed dorm. The staff was very unfriendly. We will come back to NY, but never ever to this hostel.

as a beginning you need to pay everything at the c/i and they accept only cash. my advise, dont come here, its incredibily dirty and you can easily find people sleeping in the corridors or the lobby. i dont recommend at all.

Bathrooms were very dirty. Overall poor maintenace. Rooms had no key, and no ID was required to enter the hostel.

The location was great but way too overpriced and you had to pay cash (so they dont have to pay tax!) This should not be a registered hostel, has been bodged together.

Not worth value for money even though location is really good, cleanliness is not, I had a visit from a mouse!
