Best hostel stay so far in the UK (and I am a traveller). Really helpful and costumer-caring staff. Hostel has a lot of charisma. Shops are just a few mins walk away. Very comfy beds, clean showers, well equipped kitchen, free tea/coffee & milk, chilly (big flat) TV lounge with free wifi. I joined a Landrover trip for little money which was fun. This hostel was great very safe, well located, friendly staff. That being said, Sheddon Hill is VERY STEEP, so don't stay unless you are prepared for cardio every day. There are also a ton of stairs in the hostel and only 2 bathrooms for the entire place, so be prepared for stairs and waiting in line. Marnie, from USA ~ 5th Jul 2011
