Uppsala Vandrarhem/ Kvarntorget STF/IYHF in , Sverige

The Kvarntorget hostel is a nice and quiet place. It's about 10-20 minute walking to get to the main attractions in town. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the reception closes at night and (strangely) also several hours during the day. Even when the hostel is fully booked it does not make a crowded impression, it's still pretty quiet actually. If you want a quiet place to relax after a busy day, this is it if you prefer a busy hostel in order to meet new people, go somewhere else. David, from Netherlands ~ 31st Aug 2012

When we came to hostel it was under construction, although it supposed to be rather neat inside. MAnager was really bored and it seemed to me she didn't like her job, a she totaly forgot to tell us our check out time. Our twin bed room was rather empty, no place to put our things in, no hangers to place our coats, so they were lying on the floor. Also the heating was rather poor, but we were provided with heater, but still in the corridors it was not comfortable. Beds were bad, my back hurt. Daniel, from Russia ~ 30th Jan 2012
